STEP 1
Enrollment
Initiate your patient’s enrollment in Pfizer GeneTogether for support throughout their gene therapy journey. Your patient will then be able to log in to the Pfizer GeneTogether patient portal as part of their enrollment and participation in the program.
STEP 2
Insurance Assistance
Pfizer GeneTogether can assist with the process of seeking insurance approval and understanding patients’ coverage for gene therapy.
- Benefits investigation: Conducting a benefits investigation to determine a patient’s health insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs for gene therapy.
- Prior authorization (PA) assistance: Coordinating with a patient’s insurer to determine the PA requirements and process. After your office submits a PA request, we’ll follow up with the insurer to track the progress and status, upon your request.
- Appeals assistance: Reviewing the reasons for a denied claim and help with the appeals process by providing information on payer requirements.
